Charles Newman, PhD
Charles Newman has over 30 years' experience in telecommunications (at AT&T), financial services (at Chase Manhattan Bank), and management consulting (at Business International, CMN International, Quint Wellington Redwood), with management responsibility in strategic planning, information technology planning and management, international business development, and e-business transformation and experience consulting to dozens of major multinational corporations in over 100 countries. Overlapping this practitioner background is his 15 years of teaching at the graduate level at Florida International University, Nova Southeastern University, Florida Atlantic University, Pace University, Capella University, and now University of Maryland University College, where he is Collegiate Professor and Program Director/Course Manager for the Strategy capstone course of the MBA program. He has developed and delivered Executive Education Programs on business and technology strategy alignment and has published books and papers on IT, strategic planning, e-business, and international business. He holds a PhD from Pace University, MS from University of Southern California, a BS from Case Western Reserve University.
